They will contact the family members of the approximately 2,200 people who were on board the Titanic when it sank.

Magellan will also examine the footage they captured of the passengers. By doing this, they hope to learn more about the individuals who were traveling on the Titanic during its first and last voyage in 1912. Tragically, more than 1,500 people lost their lives when the ship hit an iceberg and sank in the Atlantic Ocean.
